100% Black “No cream, No sugar”
100% black No need for an additive 100% black Strong and directive
Honey-coated brown Or deep rich Caramel tinted with a splash of strength No need to change this
Taste my resilience The ambrosia of my pigmentation Awaken my hopes and dreams For my blackness is inspiration
No need To add sugar nor cream Just take me black For I have a dream
No artificial sweeteners Will improve this richness Take a sip of my soul Inhale the aroma of my blackness
No seasoning To enhance my taste For 400 years of hatred Is still left to debate
For I am 100% black….
Black like the soil of the motherland Dark as the midnight sky Like the shadows of my ancestors For I am 100% black fortified
Strong and determined….
365 days black….
